ABii Maximizes Impact in the Classroom and Ignites a Love for Learning

KENNESAW, GA—PowerUpEDU, in its quest to create innovative learning experiences for the classroom, continues to discover cutting-edge technology and curriculum that will elevate teaching and learning. In keeping with this mission, PowerUpEDU is excited to announce an addition to its Active Learning practice.

ABii by Van Robotics is a socially adaptive robot with a library of standards-aligned lessons that build confidence and core skills mastery. ABii’s evidence-based, rigorous lessons support teachers and complement school curriculum in PreK-5 Math and Reading. ABii also offers a tremendous opportunity in Grades 8-12, through its Classroom to Career Program, which builds strong STEM pipelines by teaching middle/high school students the fundamentals of robotics and AI.

The leadership at Van Robotics and PowerUpEDU share more than enthusiasm in their quest to introduce ABii to southeastern classrooms. They share the same mission.  Laura Boccanfuso, PhD, CEO & Founder of Van Robotics spoke to that common thread. “From the moment we began conversations with the PowerUpEDU team, it was clear we share the same north star:  students.” She continues, “I think it goes well beyond a business partnership—it’s a shared commitment to putting innovative, evidence-based tools in the hands of the teachers and learners,
creating opportunities for better learning outcomes. We couldn’t be more excited for what we’ll build together.”
